2026 4*/5* QB Jared Curtis decommits from UGA

USC getting a lot of buzz on the Twitter about being in the mix here. He apparently visited for the LSU game and some momentum began swinging our way after that. Other schools are in the mix...Bama, OSU, SoCal.

No real idea what shot we stand here, and I don't put any stock in commits that are more than a year out.

He's a Nashville Christian product who hit it off well with Beamer and I thought was close to committing to us before the GA commit.
Hopefully we have a shot with the decommit.

When it comes to high school QBs, it always makes me nervous when I see they went to a Christian school. They don't seem to pan out.

When it comes to high school QBs, it always makes me nervous when I see they went to a Christian school. They don't seem to pan out.

I call it the "PCS5SS" (Private Christian School 5 Star Syndrome). Those kids usually are 3 stars who pile up gaudy stats against a bunch of 5' 7" slow white DBs in HS.
