By the way, our defense is now ranked #16 in the nation. Great job by Clayton White. He was nominated for the Broyles Award as the top assistant in the nation a couple of years ago. He interviewed for the HC job at UNC-Charlotte around that time. I suspect he will be gone after this season. Beamer made good hires @ Special Teams Coordinator (Lembo who was nominated for the Broyles Award after the 2022 season) and Defensive Coordinator. Our offense is ranked @102. It's puzzling why Beamer is able to make good hires at ST and DC but not OC. If we had a good offense, we might be in the Top 10, maybe even 5. smh
