Baylor's pitcher is Baylor's version of Chad Crosswhite. We are about to score 2.

Ok, here's a question:

Biggest disappointment - Crosswhit or Andy Rice?

You're "beginning" to think he won't get a chance to pitch? I've been saying since before the season started that he would get very few chances to pitch as a closer on this team. So far, I've been right. He has only 2 saves so far, and one of those is a plastic save (came into a game up 5-2 that we won 9-2).

Damn....what happened to our baseball team ?

</p> Polk basked in the glow of our CWS run last year too much. Last year, there was some heat on him to perform plus the specter of a new AD on the horizon, so he started doing some things like bunting, stealing, and making pitching changes even though it wasn't his style. The result was a nice postseason run. This took the heat off of him for a little while, and in the meantime he has been writing letters to the NCAA and gone back to his old ways of station to station offense and letting pitchers get thier pitches in.
