Without watching.....I'll go Mustipher, Jacobs, Isaac, Washington, and Clifford.

Not bad. But, if Clifford goes down there isn't a lot of experience behind him. Tengwall might be critical, but he's only played three games to date. Lots of expectation for him, but not sure he's as critical as Clifford.

If Clifford goes down again, and again, they have no one ready to step in, then shame on them. With that said, Villeaux should be more than capable to take over at this point.

Good list. Completely agree about PJ at 1. I'd probably put Jacobs at 2 for the same reason PJ is 1: their success and or failure is going to determine if we even have a chance to win games or play from behind. Basically, '20 vs '21.

Brown might be a better choice than Issac, even though you explained the reasoning, simply because one brings a tangible amount of experience back for '22 vs the other being a guy coming off injury who was primarily a pass rush specialist in limited playing time.

I think we all agree PJ is #1 on this list, which is probably why his name comes up so much when the questions around recovery come up. Him not being ready is almost the same as him going down. There really is no #2 DT at 1-tech who matches what he does.

#2 feels like OT as we don't seem to have depth there vs IOL spots. Fashanu would be a big loss.

#3 - Jacobs makes sense on the list due to the lack of depth on LB.

#4 - I think Brown as he is critical to the cohesion back there. We do have depth, but there would be fall off without him.

#5 I can see Clifford, but he has been hurt every season so far, so evidence suggests he gets hurt again. Hopefully, we do not play him at 50%, and CV looks like he can step in and play better than an injured Clifford. A badly hurt Clifford (i.e. the Illinois version is not better than CV, DA or BP. Right now, if SC were to get hurt where he can play but not at his best, I would go with CV immediately.
