Haven’t listened yet, but can’t wait!! Big-time influence on Keef by Gram Parsons during that time (stayed at the villa Richards rented in the South of France during the recording of “Exile...Mick wasn’t as enamored w/Parsons). A few years earlier…workin around his schedule w/“The Byrds” & “The Flying Burrito Bros.” …Parsons would come to Greenville to record w/“The Shilos” whom he had met at a folk festival in Florida (“The Shilos” members were all 1965 grads of Wade Hampton High here in G’ville). As it would happen, his “connection” while in Greenville was a Carolina High grad from the mid-1960’s. He would take Parsons back to the municipal airport to fly back to L.A. Would always stop at the Twin-Palmetto Restaurant on Laurens Rd. for a chili-cheese half ‘n’ half plate before his departures!!
