Bumphis, Hamp Glover, and Jordan Hunt are on 1 team. Bumphis looks like a dandy dozen player. He and Glover are rotating series @ qb for their team. The thing i noticed most about Glover is that he is very aware of who is around kind of like Wes Welker. Jordan looks solid playing lb.

Also, Hamp Glover is a very good player. I know he doesn't get the attention that the other players in the state get, but he was basically Meridian's best WR last year. Good hands, size and decent speed. Also, when Russell went down for 3 games, Glover was outstanding at QB. I don't know if he's a D1 player, but it would not surprise me at all. Glad to hear he's doing well at 7-on-7. And for what it's worth, Bumphis will be a star.

Wayne Madkin has been in Tupelo recently and had good things to say about Bumphis.

He has a charity golf tournament that he has put together in Tupelo sometime in July.

but a "representative" of the school can't have any influential contact directly with the athlete unless incidental contact(which my original post was not clear on). Madkin was talking about Bumphis and not talkin to Bumphis.

Hamp Glover's sport may be baseball. I know one thing for sure....if I ever see him take a grooved fastball for Strike One, he can expect endless abuse and ridicule from me.

If McAllaster on the sidelines for a game that C.Eason played in was not a violation.. then how can Madkin talking about Bumphis at a golf tourney be a violation?

Hell lets not get so damn skittish.. The NCAA got their man out of Starkville like they wanted several years ago. MSU is not under a microscope anymore for that petty crap that they stuck MSU for when the Kang was here.</p>
