and there were 2 things that were critical:
1) set a lot of screens: down screens, back screens, stagger screens, cross screens and ball screens.
The MSU "motion offense" sets one kind of screen: Ball screen. And we are lucky to get one of those per possession.
2) Don't watch the ball.
MSU has 4 players watching the guy with the ball. Just watch us.
A true motion offense would back door to death a team that overplayed like WKU is overplaying us.
Oh yeah, our motion offense also had motion. As in constant motion with 5 players moving.
