In the last couple of hours. I know there was discussion about programs that don't have exits...there you go.
No. He’s not good enough to make room for. I think we’re good at edge. Especially if we’re going to run 3-3-5 more.Would you take Edmond back? There is precedent for guys going to another school and transferring back to their original school when it didn't work out. Edmond did show some signs at the end of 2022.
Is that a rumor or has someone in authority declared that? No. He’s not good enough to make room for. I think we’re good at edge. Especially if we’re going to run 3-3-5 more.

My initial reaction would be to tell him to kick rocks if he even hinted at being interested in returning. But, I don’t know. As someone else noted above, he showed flashes here in ‘22. I think he could be of use to us. But, obviously that would be Beamer’s call.Would you take Edmond back? There is precedent for guys going to another school and transferring back to their original school when it didn't work out. Edmond did show some signs at the end of 2022.
With this 9, Bama is up to 14. UGA has 18, LSU has 16.Big difference between 8 or 9 compared to 18 or more.
I have a feeling that team impacts aren't exactly of equal significance. Management efficacy likely varies also. With this 9, Bama is up to 14. UGA has 18, LSU has 16.
Doesn’t matter. They have obvious problems in their organizations. That’s what I learned today.I guess when you’re 2 and 3 deep with 5* at most portions you can absorb the losses.

He hurt them large. Amazing foible in a program of that caliber. Also, I think the position is tougher now than when quarterbacks were under center. One was the center, so probably a net gain for Bama.
Yes. It was tongue in cheek. But there has been some that have suggested that big time programs don’t have transfers out. It’s just not true. They have people transferring out for more PT and NIL just like we do.Obviously requires a holistic assessment. I'm sure you can understand that.
It's like saying there's no difference between people jumping off a ship that just crashed into an iceberg and people getting off a ship that just docked in port.

Can you share or give examples of this precedent.Would you take Edmond back? There is precedent for guys going to another school and transferring back to their original school when it didn't work out. Edmond did show some signs at the end of 2022.
Bama has 14. We have 22. So even if they don't have another hit the portal, you think we're going to have 6 more?? hahaI bet we will have twice as many as Bama
This happens more in Basketball than Football. Read an article a year ago listing all the players that left via the transfer portal and transferred back to their original school when things didn't work out. Of course, some fence mending would be needed, but in this era of total free agency chaos, I think you need to take the best players you can regardless of feelings. Can you share or give examples of this precedent.
Yes I think it’s more likely we have 28 than Bama has 15Bama has 14. We have 22. So even if they don't have another hit the portal, you think we're going to have 6 more?? haha

There are also a lot of posters who automatically assume that any talented player going in the portal is one we should go after and can get. Most talented, proven players in the portal are not looking to go to a middling to losing program. Rattler was talented but he had lost his starting position and knew he wasn't going to play much, if any, at OK.I used to work with a guy who predicted the last 2 recessions, twelve times.
I don't understand why but we seem to have a lot of fans (maybe they're just posters and not really fans) who seem to believe that other teams situations, issues or problems make us a better team.
LOL ... Come to think about it, there always seems to be discussion about bringing back previous coaches, as well. i.e. Brad Lawing, Joe Lee Dunn, Ernest Nix, Bobby Cremins, Ellis Johnson
Harsh. There are also a lot of posters who automatically assume that any talented player going in the portal is one we should go after and can get. Until we start making some sort of noise as even a dark horse contender in the SEC, we aren't at the top of the list for portal players who have a lot of options.
Just curious but do you know what options our transfers have had? You don't think Rattler had options?? Do you see the amount of backup QBs who have never played in the portal that are getting interest?? We kicked the tires on 2 of them. We are chasing a Furman OT. I'm sure if he commits, many of you will laugh at us "only being able to get FCS players". And will ignore the fact that he's deciding between USC and FSU. Deandre Jules chose us over UF. Kyle Kennard chose us over FSU. Jared Brown chose us over AU. Rocket didn't even entertain anyone else, but would have attracted a lot of options. Are there some that don't have a lot of options? Sure. But to insinuate that the guys we get don't have any other options is just wrong. There are also a lot of posters who automatically assume that any talented player going in the portal is one we should go after and can get.
