I think most people just want someone that is going to try to win at MSU, not make lame excuses should we lose, and just give a damn about MSU and not worry about what the NCAA does.

The poll was a little flawed. Whoever came up with the poll only gave two choices, and I'm sure that there are people that would have wanted Kinneson, Steve Smith, or whoever else.

1) It does nobody any good to just put names of people out there that you only know little of, without posting their numbers, and it takes a little bit of time to come up with the numbers.

2) I wanted to see how people felt about those two. There's been a lot of talk about Cohen, but not so much about O'Conner. Obviously, if you put Pat Casey in the poll, everybody is going to vote for him. Those two seemed like two realistic candidates at the end of the day. If I'd had more time, I would've gotten Smith's numbers together.

A vote FOR O'Connor does not equal a vote AGAINST Cohen. They're both very good coaches and either would do a much better job at MSU than we've seen in a long long time.
