Mac is flirting with getting his press credentials pulled by Jerrah.

Don't bother blaming the referees. Don't blame the NFL. Don't blame the stadium. Don't blame the sun.

Blame the Dallas Cowboys. Blame their owner. Blame their GM. Blame their head coach. Blame his assistants. Blame the players.

The Dallas Cowboys should have at least won a playoff game, but instead they "penalized" their way right into the offseason with a display of consistent ineptitude, and a diet of disappointing play.

Who built the stadium so the sun shines in receivers’ eyes? Good ole Jerry.

Dallas played the same way all year and beat up on subpar competition during the regular season. They were over rated. Dak is not the guy at QB and Zeke is over the hill. The OL has been a "penalty waiting to happen" on every play and the defense is in "me, me, me, mode" all too often. Jerry got what he deserved as it was evident all year long and nothing was done to correct it. They were very undisciplined. McCarthy is soft and not the same coach he was in GB. Will Jerry can him and replace with Quinn?

This is correct. According to NFL radio the Boys were 6-6 against teams outside of their weak *** division and 2-4 at home against those teams.

The Cowpokes were 6-6 out of the NFC least (most SB titles by far, 13). Were fortunate to be beat the Vikings, Pats, & the Chargers blew it against them. I'm a Birds fan but their loss made the weather less of a pain. Jerry Jones, eat your oil profits.

Absolutely spot on. Another Cowboys fan here.

Look, it's like fans of the WFT. We can't help who we root for, that's rooted as far back as our childhood. But when I began rooting for the Cowboys, as a child in TX, it was in the mid/late 70s. Totally different cast of characters, from the owner, GM, and coach (HOF Coach Landry). I like what Jimmy Johnson brought to the team in terms of discipline back in the '90s, and to some degree, same with Parcells from 2003-2006. Other than that, it's been a sh!tshow with entitled players and lack of accountability. Yes, it starts (and ends) with the owner. Jerry Jones. Daniel Snyder. One franchise is getting to the post season a little more often than the other, but otherwise, both of these franchises are going on a quarter-century plus since a deep playoff run.

It's kind of like seeing a highly-disciplined, smart PSU squad under Joe Paterno morph into one that's not quite like that. Seriously, with my favorite football teams, the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Dallas Cowboys, it would appear the best days are behind us. I hope I can be proven wrong. At 51, I really hope so.

Back in the early- to mid eighties-, my other teams were Georgetown basketball, and the Redskins. I saw a lot of greatness.

Have to agree with the writer. The Boys should fire all the players. Then maybe Micah can land on a team with a chance of making the Super Bowl.

No the Cowboys should fire the head coach and hire one who insists on discipline and accountability instead of blaming the officials and making other excuses after every loss There is plenty of talent on the team.

Well despite all their faults, at least the Cowboys had a chance to win in the fourth quarter unlike the Eagles who couldn’t score until garbage time in the 4th quarter. Funniest thing I heard all weekend was, after listening to all the chatter all week about the Eagles “vaunted” running game, the Bucs defensive coordinator said he wasn’t worried about the Eagles’ running game. Turned out to be spot on.

Just a friendly reminder that Eagles = cowboys this season. =

I don't know if you guys are aware of this but any local sports reporter who's overly critical of the team or organization gets banned by Jerrah. Therefore, it's really easy to get caught up in the ********. I did back in 2016 when a young whipper snapper QB replaced an injured Tony Romo and the drumbeats said, 'we're going to the Super Bowl'. Green Bay knocked us out in the first round. At the time I told myself never again. Well, guess what. I got caught up in the hoopla again when we were 6-1. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Never again.

Anyway, the Cowboys have a cancer. The tumor is at the very top of the organization and nothing will change until it's removed. That's the cold, hard truth.

I like Shannon Sharpe's take on McCarthy. Dude had 1, most likely 2 first ballot HOF QBs and won 1 SB. I mean...

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! The #7 eagles lost to the #2 Bucs away. The #3 cowboys lost to the #6 9ers at home. You sure you want to start this conversation?

What conversation? I have said that the Cowboys played terrible and deserved to lose. But there is a difference between playing lousy and losing a close game and getting your heads handed to you. How's that for a HAHAHAHAHA?

i'm sorry.... let me try another way. 1 team lost a game they were expected to lose. 1 team lost a game that they were expected to win. i don't know much more simple it is than that. "they deserved to lose BUT....." There's no "but". There's failed expectations for the Cowboys, and meeting expectations for the Eagles. Deflect all you want to make yourself feel better.

News: Broncos Senior Staff flying into Dallas to interview both Dan Quinn and Kellen Moore for the open Head Coach position in Denver. Both are highly regarded around the league. Moore a much younger candidate but is seen by most as a Head Coach someday soon.

It’s Jones. It starts and ends there. The problem is that he’s built a money printing machine with the Cowboys. There is zero reason for him to sell the team and he seems poised to set up his kids with the franchise after he passes.

3…2…1…until Jerrah stabs McCarthy in the back and promotes Quinn to keep him.

As a rival fan, it’s high entertainment. It must be super frustrating as a Cowboys fan.

Ownership, ownership, ownership…

I live in DFW and am a lifer Eagles Fan. I am amazed at the talent level for the Cowboys and how it continues to under-achieve. I Would love to have most of the Cowboys join the Eagles. I am not impressed with Coach McCarthy. Steven Jones stated this morning that McCarthy was their guy again next year. But that’s Jerry’s son saying that…..etc

The expectations for the two teams was vastly different. The Eagles had less talent than the Super Bowl Champions. The Cockroaches just choked.

I disagree with the notion that McCarthy has gone soft. I think he has only been soft! He is this generations version of Mike Ditka. Name another coach who has done less with more! Aaron Rodgers is a generational QB talent.

Side note: it’s amazing that the Packers have had first-ballot Hall of Fame QBs for close to 30 years now and have two Super Bowl titles to show for it. People pile on the 90s Atlanta Braves for not winning more titles, but the 90s, 00s, and 10s Pack is up there.
