Taking my daughter to orientation at her new home for the next four or so years today. Love that fact that she is attending her dad's school despite my ex raising her in TSUNville.
Got the call yesterday from the ticket office. Apparently I made the cut an now a Mississippi State University season ticket holder. Had just about given hope that I would get the call. Section G Row 44.
It's a long long ride down here from Virginia but I can't wait do make it this fall. It really has been a great few days!

Congratulations.I've also made that drive several times when I lived in Annapolis. It can be pretty brutal if you do it all in one day.I also hope for your sake she doesn't pack like some of the freshmen I saw when I helped during freshman move in day several years ago. You'd have one student roll up with three full SUV loads of junk.<div>
</div><div>Also, what was your BC number if you don't mind me asking? I'm fairly high up there and starting to wonder. I'll probably end up giving them a call today in any case.</div>

1. "or so" is correct. Victory laps are very common.
2. Prepare yourself for section G row 44. You will be right next to us. Some of my friends are dubmasses. I hope you took the old couple that sat right next to us and never once stood up, clapped, talked, or even looked at each other. You will be right in the middle of a bunch of people who just graduated in the last 5 or so years if everyone renewed their tickets.

i've heard Section G gets a little rowdy, might as well be<span style="text-decoration:line-through"> dollar night at Rick's</span> quarter night at Mugshot's over there from what I hear.

you have to get some folks in Section E motivated from time to time, Section G takes care of themselves.

There, I fixed it.

Let me be the first to Welcome you to Section G or as some like to call it "The G Spot". It's a great section and for the most part around row 44 everyone gets on their feet at the appropriate moments. "Ringing Responsibly" was a little tough for the section at first, but after The KY game the section really got the point.

That Arkansas game was probably one of the best we had all season despite the tough loss. It's going to be a fun season if we can see some wins!!! Don't worry, the section is no "Rick's Crowd" more like a quarter night at Mugshots crowd!

Congrats on the daughter heading up there. I wish everyday that I was still there

Worries the hell outta me about it. If I could update him on the order that would shut him up for a few days.

I'm around 3400 and haven't received a call yet either. I talked to the BC today and told them my situation (renewed existing tickets but wanted to upgrade them to lower level seating). The guy told me they were going through the seating requests by section (I'm currently 707) and should be done by the end of next week. After getting off the phone and thinking about it, that didn't make much sense to me because I was under the impression they were doing request by BC rank.

G is quite lively between rows 20 and the top. Lot of us in the under 40 crowd having a damn good time being back at dear old State for the weekened in that corner of the stadium.

I have a season ticket for one, and they wanted it for a multiple-seat holder who just had an addition to the family and needed an adjacent seat.
They offered me another seat in the same section a couple of rows higher, so of course I agreed.

So, the process appears to be -- in process.

I've tried to buy two extra seats next to mine for planned, as of yet unconceived children for the last two years because I don't want to scramble around if/when it does happen.

Hopefully once he/she is actually born, maybe some similar calls will be made on our behalf.

After a lot of sweating today, I just got the call as well. I took two in Section G row 18. Looks like you rowdy asses are pushing all the geezers out of the section. I'll try to do my part as well.<div>
</div><div>Edited to add: I should also say that according to them, there were a few blocks of seats in G and then some chairbacks in the middle of the West side upperdeck.

Took 2 high up in B where I can see plays develop rather than getting 2 around the 30 and down way low.

ETA: I saw some on here last week saying they were out of parking passes. No they're not. I was offered one Tuesday but I declined buying it since I park and tailgate behind Newell-Grissom and don't need one there.

from the ticket office. I got the two additional season tickets that we wanted. I'm ranked at 3400. We are also sitting in G. Row 4, baby!! It's the place to be!
