1. my recliner is the best seat in the house
2. I can see more on my TV than I can in the stadium
3. cold beer is good, not waiting to use the bathroom is great
No opposing fans ( ND, OSU, UM ) getting in my face, and getting into trouble .
No smell of vomit and urine.

I miss the smell of grass at Beaver Stadium and the football talk with the fans.

People have their own preferences. I love the atmosphere at an an exciting Penn state game. And I have club seats and I never miss a play gong to the bathroom.

There was nothing better the last two years than going to wins at Wisconsin, Purdue, and Auburn. Minnesota, a few years ago, should have been a win.Maryland is always a given!

How is that different from being at the stadium?
I don’t have to leave my couch. And it’s a lot warmer here in Florida in November. I did forget to mention I can take a piss and be back in my seat in under 5 minutes. So there.

Just curious....if I may ask.....how much would you say Club seats cost you per year. I've always felt like that would be my preferred way to attend games now. Also, what is your vantage point and are you close enough to the action. Thanks in advance.

Staying home I miss the thrill of the drive to State College (well, the last 30 minutes of it)…..parking downtown and hitting the shops…..watching the coeds…..walking out through campus to my tailgating…..getting to my seat to watch the early warm-ups…..watching The Blue Band…..yelling my *** off during the game until I’m horse…..hitting The Creamery before I leave town.

Had them for ten years. End zone view. Sets up well except for the far end of the field. IMO, the best way is to buy single game tix online. I've been doing that for sometime now. If you want to go deep, attend a few games from single game purchases, and move around a few sections to optimize your ideal vantage point before buying in.

One thing I learned here on TMB is that despite watching probably 1000 football games over 50+ years, my observations are invalid because I never coached.

Wow. This is really sad to me. The thing that differentiates college football the most is the environment of the college campus. You are missing the school spirit, the bands, the tailgating, running into an old friend or classmate you did not expect to see. I love singing the fight songs and alma mater. Did I mention the bands?

Some of my best memories I can think of are beating Ohio State, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Georgia and Auburn and being there.

I love college football and hope that NIL, etc don't take this away from us. I can watch pro football from my sofa.

I agree with both the Nit and WP. What Nit says is all true, but hopefully, that doesn't mean he prefers to watch at home. I have no problem watching at home, but I certainly prefer to be there in person. If Nit prefers to watch at home we're throwing fists :p

If the weather cooperates, there's nothing like a weekend of touring the campus, tailgating, then followed by a seat in the stadium (even if the seats are small). Sure, the amenities of the stadium suck, but that's part of the charm.

It will be a sad day if I ever prefer to watch at home.

And apparently you only need to coach high school football to be an expert. I wonder if junior high is acceptable??
