In our epically woeful performance this baseball season we managed to win three SEC series that accounted for six of our nine wins. Two of those three opponents are playing in the supers and, to top it off, we accomplished this feat on the road. Go figure.

SEC baseball got every team but what? Three in the regionals? Softball got all but one. SEC baseball is better than SEC softball. Winning records with a good SOS should get you in. At the same time, watching us, we didn't deserve a bid.

We didn't deserve it and we are also alone in another group. Just one team in the SEC to failed to qualify for Hoover in the last two consecutive years. That would be your 2021 National Champion MSU Bulldogs and the HC unbelievably kept his job.

Remember that we were tied with Auburn in the SEC going into the Sunday game in which our pitching had a Chernobyl level meltdown. We went on to finish 9-21 while they hosted a Regional.
