So with the Russian-Ukrainian war going on, I don’t foresee this being a quick dust-up, what would you guys suggest on the investments front. My 401k is taking a beating the past 2 months and I don’t see anything getting easier. Whereof what funds should I look to for these days and times. I appreciate all the intellectual help given, if you want to be a smart mouth please pass this by.

How old are you? If you are 45 or younger, i wouldn't change a thing. If you older, you could consider something more conservative but you'll miss the bounce.

I am 54 and plan to ride it out.

I’m 46, I was hoping to stay the course as well. Just didn’t know if that’s the thinking everyone else has.

I'm 60 and plan on riding it out as well. If we can just get rid of the crazy dude in Moscow things should rebound IMO.

I'm old but I buy into potential profit later instead of selling into weakness now. If your holdings are good, you'll be ok.

Did you really think markets could keep going up so much?

Some good plays now might be defense stocks: basic military contractors and also leaders in cybersecurity. Buy the dip in things like Amazon. Otherly, commodities are in beast mode but oil is already coming back down to Earth based on more production by the USA and OPEC. Grain etc. are way up.

Adventuresome plays would have been shorting the Ruble on forex or shorting Russian stocks but this is possibly played out already.

What a time it's been after the calmness of 2019, eh?

I knew the market couldn’t keep up with those type gains, but I just wasn’t sure if some short term plays to make sure I don’t continuously get killed month after month. You are correct, what a wild ride.
