For the next weight class, we're going to take a look at Penn State's 2nd "worst" weight class in terms of NCAA points during the Cael Era. This also happens to be Penn State's second best weight class in the 15 years prior to Cael. <I used the same parameters and scoring as the 174, 125 and 184 weight classes. 126 is combined with 133 for 1995-1998.>
A 31 year streak at qualifying 133/126 for the tournament was snapped for Oklahoma State this year. This allowed Iowa to pass them for first place at 133 during the Cael Era. Penn State edges out Ohio State for 3rd place. Cornell has the most national champions but only one other AA finish to place 7th. No teams qualified for all 16 tournaments.

Even with this weight being Penn State's 2nd best for this time period, it's still only good enough for 6th place. Sanshiro Abe got Penn State's only championship. Oklahoma State was dominant at this weight class with 215.5 points. This is the most for any team at any weight class over these 15 years. Iowa and Iowa State also had strong showings for 2nd and 3rd. And here's one of Bakersfield's two appearances on any of the 30 top ten lists (2 more than Rutger). Oklahoma State and Iowa State are the only two teams to qualify for all 15 tournaments. There isn't as much variance with teams compared to other weight classes with just 3 different teams on this list. This was Penn State's strongest showing for NQs during this period for any weight class with 14.

And here is the combined list with Oklahoma State leading the way with Iowa in a strong 2nd. This is the highest point total (407.5) by any school at any weight class for the past 30 tournaments. Ok State also leads the way in each individual category with 7 NCs, 22 AAs and 30 NQs. Penn State comes in at a respectable 4th place.

Here's Penn State's lineup for the last 31 tournaments. I also included Oklahoma State's lineup with a lot of big names at 133/126 over the years.

And here is the top 3 over the last 30 tournaments with a lot of orange and yellow scattered around. Cody Sanderson was also a pretty decent wrestler before coaching.
