Franco epitomized everything that was good about JoePa and Penn State.
The NFL preaches all their propaganda and ********, but can't show us the Franco tribute video? Flat out nuts!
I read that Franco joins Ernie Stautner (No. 70) and Joe Greene (No. 75) as the only Seelers to have their numbers retired. A total of three guys?!! That seems just CRAZY to me. I have linked below a list of Steelers players who are in the NFL Hall of Fame. Look at that list of players and tell me which of them does not deserve to have his number retired! Except for a couple of old timers about whom I know nothing, that list reads like a Who's Who of football players.
Yeah, cutting to a fudging commercial just as they went to the video tribute in the stadium was just total ********, like spitting into Franco’s face.
A great Steelers win in honor of Franco. I have nothing but great memories of him when I would be in a class or see him at a party when I was at Penn State. I will forever remember his great smile, sincere humbleness to everyone, and what he did for both the Penn State and Steelers communities. RIP Franco !
Tom thank you for posting that . That new piece of video proves once and for all what really happened on that play , and as usual the Raiders are full of it .
God bless Franco and prayers to his family and Steelers nation . We lost a class act and human being who brought so much to all . We should all be more like Franco who was taught values and responsibility .
We were shocked that the nfl network built it up and then went some ridiculous commercial which lasted forever.
well another nail biter and I will certainly enjoy the win on Franco’s day. 2 more games let’s work on the draft!
We lost to every possible team with the same record so there is no way Steelers get in. Funny thing is except for the eagles we beat every team in the nfc. If this team gets 2 offensive lineman and a d lineman for the future then tomlin may have a chance to get this team on top. He still has to coach it though and that will need to change in the big games.
