Was it a grass or turf field? What color was the ref's underwear? How tall is the flag pole? What shade of red were the faces of the District 10 Committee members when they realized how embarrassing their actions were? We need to know these pertinent details before a proper outcome can be determined.

Sound like a serious offense against God and man. Cats and dogs living together.

You are correct, Dr. Venkman, except it’s, “Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... MASS HYSTERIA!”

They knowing broke the rules and then didn't self report. In my opinion they deserve what they get. We can't let schools break the rules that they don't like or think should be rules. To me it's as simple as that.

Unfortunately, that’s the rule. They had to get PIAA approval as well as the other team. I ran into this with basketball last week where the road team didn’t have enough dark jerseys so they agreed with other team to go reverse sweater night. I was told we still should have penalized since they didn’t have state approval.

What a crock of sh*t. The PIAA has private schools that compete under the PIAA that have kids from other states on the roster and they choose to waste their time on this trivial stuff? What a joke.

As the late, great George Carlin would say, "There's no reason for it, it's just our policy".

Sounds like one of those "rules" that needs about 4 minutes of common sense time to re-write so that "who cares?" things like this can take place within the parameters and simple steps that these schools and officials took to make it happen.
- Hey Bob, we want to wear white jerseys for our home game against you. Ok with you guys?
- Yes, that's fine. We may do the same with you next season. I just gotta give myself a reminder to wear our home jerseys that night.
- See ya at the Christmas party.
- Not if I see you first. Have a good one.
