A year ago, we were bitching about our lack of offense on our 3-9 football team. This year, we are bitching about our lack of offense on our 8-5 football team. Some things change (our record) and some just stay the same (our offense).</p>

Yep, those were the hottest days I have ever experienced for any sports game. I remember taking in a cooler of ice water and cold clothes and battery operated fans to help stay cool. It sure helped out a lot but it didnt keep me from being drained at the end of the day. I slept well those nights.

I remember having to get to the second game, I believe, at about 6:30 in the morning so that I could get a ticket. We then drank all day waiting for the game to start. About 2 innings into the game I had to put down the beer and sit down because it was so hot I'd gotten ridiculously dehydrated and thought I was going to pass out. It was a great weekend though.

You also drank enough to fall off the cooler you were standing on, good times.

Hands down one of the best MSU sporting events I've ever been to.

And a hell of a lot of them died doing it. We all owe them a lot.

isn't just some catch phrase. It literally means what it says. I sometimes wonder if we as a nation and a people have the resolve to fight a war like we did back then.

as the saying goes:

"If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a soldier."

...who snapped hundreds of photos that morning on Omaha beach during the most intense fighting and shipped them back immediately to England only have some idiot in the lab open the canister thinking the negatives were already developed and destroying every frame.
