Strength of schedule should mean something. SMU - 77; Clemson - 57; Gamecocks - 12 SMU and Clemson should not make the playoffs! Low-level teams should be penalized!

Like I been saying over and over, SMU is wildly overrated. They shouldn't be anywhere near the playoff.
I know they lost their last two down the stretch, but Miami is still better.

Unless we find out for sure that major changes are going to be made to the rules for the playoff, then I genuinely think it might be beneficial to see about joining another conference or going independent again. It has worked wonders for Boise, ND, ASU, Clemson, Indiana, and probably SMU. All are undeserving of the playoffs, but here we are.
