in the first 75, with Weatherford the only dog at 103, I read this:

Other players from the state who might be chosen today include Ole Miss' Cody Overbeck, Justin Cryer, Logan Power and Michael Guerrero, Southern Miss' Tyler Conn and Brian Dozier, Jackson native Carlos Moncrief of Chipola (Fla.) Community College and high school stars T.J. House of Picayune and Corey Dickerson of Brookhaven Academy.

Yeah, we need Raffo's recruiting wizardry as head coach.

from Satterwhite about the "good tradition" and how "talented we were".

If you're so freaking talented Cody, then why did you put up an ERA of over 5.00? Maybe it was just a lack of balls. It kills me that we still have guys talking about how talented we were. If you were so talented, why were you a 3 seed?

Since when does 3 years of even knowing that your school has a baseball team form a tradition? I'd call 3 years a hot-streak. Keep going like their going and in 10 years I may start calling it a tradition. And yes, they were talented enough to play themselves from a top-5 preseason rating to needing the worst MSU team in over 20 years to win one at the end just so they could make it to the SEC tourney.

Ole Miss has a great tradition of Losing Super Regionals at Home...

Let's hope they can keep that one going for a long time...

Major leauge teams obviously draft on talent so what is there to argue there? Obviously they didn't have the greatest season ever (except Bittle) but they are all superior talents. As far as tradition I assume he is speaking to the building of tradition. Obviously not on the level of the LSUs of the world but you gotta start somewhere.

Once Byrne brings Cohen home, the free reign on recruits ends. And when you list tradition, there's only 2 programs in the west who get left off the list, ****.

when we actually had to worry about losing players we had to signed out of HS or JC to the pros. I guess we've put those worries behind us.
