They could have come here and talked **** and done it cleverly.

Yet, all but one failed, miserably.

After reading the board today, I have one thing to say about the quality of the threads.

It's the crashing down to reality that last year was a year that the players won in spite of the coaches. Everyone was skeptical, but hoping that Croom had finally turned the corner. All this release it the realization that the team is no better than it was in any three win year and Croom started tearing the wrappers off of his brand new excuse books that he had ordered in at the Barnes and Noble this spring. Though he is using some that actually point the finger right back at him. The ******** about him being worried all spring about the players being undisiplined and it showed last night just says that he can't install disipline in the team. It's year 5 and we are not in much better shape than when Jackie resigned before Auburn.

Some people believed that Croom had em going in the right direction and everyone else damn sure started to. Now everybit of it is reversed and last year has already been forgotten in one single pathetic game. The year 01,02, 03, 04, 05, and 06 sure loom in the minds more than one single year last year does.

At least part of the problem is gone. and if Croom lays and egg this year... more will follow. Byrne at least wont go into excuse mode for the dumbass when there has been pathetic performance after pathetic performance.

It is obvious that Ellis Johnson deserves the most credit for last year too.
