And there's a lot of young men in that locker room right now that are hurting.

Has to transfer to field on game day or it's worthless - that's their job, to replicate proper execution from practice to game day.

Precisely. It raises more questions if the head coach thinks practices are going wonderfully, and they come out and look like they did against Missouri. I’d rather him say he kind of suspected this was coming after the lousy week practice they had.

I like Beamer a lot, but he does always seem caught a little off guard by lousy performances.

This was one of my favorite things about Spurrier. He'd always say how it was. No coach speak with him. If a player sucked, he'd tell you. If coaching sucked, he'd tell you. When he sucked, he quit.

haha, yup! It just raises some red flags for me when the head coach always seems surprised that we're bad.

I can distinctly recall Spurrier lamenting "we're just not a very good football team right now."

I get that Beamer has a different mindset but I really don't want to hear about how we're really a better team than we're showing.

I guess when a terrible offense plays against a terrible defense it does look like both sides of the ball are pretty good.

I'm sure the defensive line looked great in practice and got plenty of pressure and sacks, it just never translates into the game for some reason?

I'm sure the coaches are on it, working to figure out, calling each other late into the night, why this keeps occurring each week.
