This was one of my favorite things about Spurrier. He'd always say how it was. No coach speak with him. If a player sucked, he'd tell you. If coaching sucked, he'd tell you. When he sucked, he quit.Precisely. It raises more questions if the head coach thinks practices are going wonderfully, and they come out and look like they did against Missouri. I’d rather him say he kind of suspected this was coming after the lousy week practice they had.
I like Beamer a lot, but he does always seem caught a little off guard by lousy performances.
