AK is a great example of how we can be successful (maybe: what we NEED to do) in today's era of transfer portal. Had a great year for us, glad he decided to come here, and wish him all the best.

Three years ago Rutgers had one of their team captains call it quits and enter the transfer portal right after the pregame warmup. So have faith wishes may become reality.

I do hope the coaches were informed earlier though - I’m good with opt outs but when you’re nearing a half dozen starters there starts to be an impact on preparation. If coaches knew well in advance, they could at least plan a little better.
One idea is to expand the playoff and kill the rest of the bowls. Simply no need for them.
Does anyone know how many players have opted out for Arkansas? I tried digging around but I only found 1 in Burke. I was kinda hoping they would be heading into this game as shorthanded as we are.
They also lost a starting DL who after being arrested for dui decided to declare for the draft
