Hello,
A few years ago moms and I rented a big place in Killington over Christmas and 1 n 2 brought a ton of friends to join us for snowboarding. The mountain was rubbish, icy and bare. Is Mont Tremblant up and running late December?
Cheers.

Yes. Went many years ago. And it (was) a great trip. The village is a pedestrian village so you don’t have to worry about vehicular traffic. Make sure to get a Beaver Tail.

Book soon.

Cheap....quaint,,,,,and boring.
We’re going up for Montreal f1 ‘25, gonna check it out. 2 did his first back flip on that mt, said the mountain is better than killington (he went spring break a few years ago)
we would use it as a summer place

There are some great (and expensive) homes in the area, and you can definitely use it year round. And if you choose to rent, you can get rental income most of the year.

I disagree with Art, I think your conditions in Dec could be very good. Latitude and elevation are your friend when it comes to the winter sports.

Thank you. We’d be looking outside the vip area, hoping to be within 30 minutes of the mountain. Schit is almost free 30 minutes outside killington

Went there last August to support a family member doing an Ironman. Lovely walkable ski town. Didn't appear to be much open outside of special events in the off season. If you like hiking, I think you'll love it.

We owned a place there for years and sold it. Combination of location and topography can result in wild temperature swings, like 70 degrees in the space of 48 hours. Southside is more often mush in almost any conditions. Lots of company in the summer, mosquitos.

If my goal is 30 minutes from the resort, you suggest north south east or west?
