Having a pretty good pro career so far. Just kind of shows what a mess Florida State was/is.

Same thing I was talking with my better looking half about. If he can stay healthy he looks like the perfect NfL RB.

Imagine him getting one of those bubble screens or dump offs in our offense. Housing it every time.

He was good in college too but didn’t get much hype because FSU was so dysfunctional. Was worried the Achilles injury would ruin his career but he seems to have bounced back nicely.

Looks like they're the 3rd best in total rushing yards, but they give up 4.3 ypc which isn't in the top 10.

Coach better teach him to hold on to the all this week. Only reason bucs were in the game

What was it that Mullen did? If someone fumbled in a game Dan and them ran the entire campus with them holding all their books? Or am I making that up

Stats are deceiving because they were in a lot of blowouts where they rest guys and don’t try as hard. Also lost their nose tackle for about 3 games. If I had to pick one defense to stop a run it would be theirs followed by the Saints.

They're definitely one of the better run D's in the league. I would guess the discrepancy between total rush yds and ypc is that teams are more likely to air it out in the 2nd half due to the Buc's average scoring margin (Home +16.1, Away +3.2). But whatever the case may be, I think the jury it still out on Akers. Big time players step up in big time games, and he fell a little flat today. The kid's still young for sure though and I would love to see someone with his skill set in Starkville.

Just another reason why I don't understand why these top flight guys think they have to leave the state. If you're an NFL guy, it's going to work out for you most likely anywhere you go.

Was rumored when I was on campus that Sherrill made the guy carry the ball with him everywhere he went for the next week.

It wasn't a rumor. Had class with several backfield guys in the early 90's. Sherrill did make them carry a ball all day and sometimes for several days.

Our grandson played tackle in front of him at CHS when they went to State playoffs. He was so impressive at QB in High School. Still is as a rb.
