The West staff clearly seemed to want this game win more than the East staff. Ryan reported their practices were more intense, and they approached the game differently. They kept their top players in for many more snaps, where the East staff rotated. Personally, I think an All star game is for the players so the East approach to me is the right thing. Also, the West kept their top QB in for 75% of the game, which I have never seen before. My wife heard the game on SXM radio, and she said the West coaches had some connection to this QB. I think Allar may have had more passing yards that the West QB and Allar played about 1/3 of the East snaps.
