If you remember, Auburn and Michigan came in late and offered him. Nearly every article you read, you hear something about him doing really well out there. I don't expect him to make huge contributions, but if he's as hard to stop against our defense and with our limitations on offense, he'll see the field in some capacity.

</p>I have talked with both his High School Football and Baseball coaches and they both said he was the best athlete they had seen out of VHS in a while. His baseball coach went as far as to say he carried them to the state championship series on his back. We will see......

We are MSTATE - we will never have a solid QB. You should have figured this when everybody got excited about him - he will never live up to those expectations, unfortunately. Exhibit number one is him throwing an interception before setting the record for number of attempts without an INT as a freshman.... I mean seriously we are MSU....

Yep will do. Wasn't doubting Creel said it, I just know that Price nutted up and pitched them through the playoffs. I want to say he pitched 2 complete games in the semifinals.One on Saturday and one on Monday. Not knocking your account of things, was just throwing Stanton a bone.</p>

enough good sir. He gave Stanton plenty of praise but was simply saying that Delmon was a whole other class of athlete. If I remember correctly wasn't there an article where Creel praised Price like he was his own son? Something about him even cutting the grass on the field and such? I have no doubt that he appreciates Price's contributions but I think he was just stressing Delmon's athletic ability in a very Creel way. Know what I mean?

I personaly think Delmon might be the sleeper of the class but I have a feeling Mitchell will be the next big thing for this team.

I think Tyson Lee will be starting QB after the third game. Everybody seems really hung up on Carroll not being able to throw the long ball......well Tyson Lee can sling it and has no problem with the long ball.</p>

On Carroll and Lee, I don't think we will be able to judge anything until game time with these two. Lee may have the arm and the moves, but Carroll has the intangibles that can't be measured in the stats or on the practice field. Last year he was not flashy, but he made good decisions, and showed a desire to do what it took to win. You don't know if a kid can do that until he is put in a high pressure situation. Lee might have the same thing, with a better arm. I never saw him play at ICC. I hope we get a glimpse of both of them against LaTech.
