Completely dominated the match. LSU goalkeeper had a great night to keep it from being much worse. Defense just shut them down. Only 2 shots & no corner kicks. Next up #2 Arkansas in Starkville Friday night.

Ally Perry is magic with the ball. It feels like she can score from just about anywhere once she has the ball past midfield.

Really wish we had her at Stanford last year. She’s our best offensive player. Defensively they are just not allowing some pretty good teams to even get a shot off. Maddy Anderson is a great GK, but she’s really had almost nothing to do in any of the 3 SEC games so far.

Yeah, it felt like LSU didn’t have the ball on our side of the field for the first 30 minutes of the game. When the ball finally did roll Maddy’s way, it was like “oh yeah, we have a goalkeeper.”

One thing that has impressed me is how we’ve shut down the best offensive player on each team. It was Missimo with Texas last week and Hermansdottir with LSU this week.

The fact that we’ve only allowed a goal in one game (the 2-1 loss to Wake Forest) is like a surreal stat.

Outshot LSU 22-1 tonight (LSU shot was harmlessly off target) & had 12 corner kick to their 0. Really neither Texas or LSU ever even threatened to score. And they’re both pretty good teams.
