In the coming days, you may receive an email inviting you to take an online survey about the Penn State Alumni Association. This survey is part of a study the Alumni Association is conducting with SimpsonScarborough, a higher education research agency. Our goal is to gauge overall awareness and perception of the Penn State Alumni Association. The results will help the Alumni Association enhance our services and support of the University and alumni.

The email with the link to the survey will come from [email protected]. Your responses will be submitted directly to SimpsonScarborough and will be kept strictly confidential. If you have questions, please reach out to [email protected].

The survey should take 10–12 minutes to complete, and as a thank-you for your feedback, you will be invited to enter a drawing to win one of four $500 gift cards.

You are correct. Last time I filled out a survey I wrote truthfully…not what anyone wanted…

survey will be manipulated so that results match exactly with current operations…and the mutual admiration society will remind us how great they are…

For sure. IIRC, there was a survey sent out in 2012 to gather information regarding alumni feelings about the state of the university. They made a big deal of it and how the administration really wanted to know. I'm sure the majority of responses weren't kind since the results were never released.
