Am I the only one, besides JR, that really won't care.....

if Gordon goes pro? I mean, it'd be great to have him back and all, but at the same time I'm tired of his errant passes, him literally handing the ball to the other team, his buzzer beating game losing shots, etc. Then again he was about the only one I trusted there for a little while to bring the ball up the court.

I guess you don't know what you have until it's gone. Hopefully we cover our bases and get Hopson.

I hope he goes pro too. I sure won't miss an All-American. We'll be better off without him because it's pretty damn easy to replace an All-American. We didn't have much trouble replacing a couple of All-American players back in 1997 did we?

He would likely break half the career records at MSU. Yeah we don't need any more of that crap out of Jamont. I get pissed at Gordon too sometimes but jeez, sometimes I think State fans are the only ones in the nation that don't want him on their team.

you are the lone ranger on this one, pal.

All-American, all SEC, led the team in scoring average up until the very end, 2nd or 3rd in rebounding for the second year in a row...we won't miss him at all...nope...no sirrreee. Players like Gordon are a dime a dozen and on every street corner just waiting to suit up and play basketball for M-State.

While I don't think he will, why wouldn't I want one of the best players in MSU history to come back for his senior year?

if anything, it will make the rest of our offense actually do something, instead of standing around waiting for something to happen.

let Gordon leave this year. Please let us lose 47% of our points/game instead of only 23.7%. Please let us lose 35% of our rebounds/game instead of only 19%. Please let us lose 44% of our assists/game instead of only 6%. Please let all this happen so we can get some other players more involved in our offense. After all, only four of our starters averaged double digit points/game this season and that is pathetic.

how anyone in their right mind (well this excludes jr) would wan THE best player on our team gone, is beyond me. their reasoning is even worse..."bbbut if he wasn't on the team we would share the ball more and everyone would score blaaah." yeah, so if you take mike jordan off the bulls teams, bj armstrong steps up and becomes all-world. same for luc longley. same for john paxon. well we see how that worked out when he left...morons.

Without Hopson, Gordon, or Rhodes this team will be NIT bound. Where's the scoring going to come from? Ben? Barry? Those two are highly inconsistent and we have no proven backups at those positions. Varnado? He's better and will likely continue to improve, but I doubt he'll ever be what Rhodes was on offense. Bailey? Still needs work. Johnson? Still needs work. Who is going to score next year?

I get frustrated at Gordon at times, but he was far and away our best player the past 3 seasons. Gordon does so many things, even when he doesn't score much. He creates shots for others, he rebounds, he defends, he takes the ball coast to coast when MSU needs a basket bad, and he gets no calls whatsoever because of his size.
