His last year in the NFL he 62 tackles and 4 int's along with 3 punt returns for touchdowns. I guess if that's mediocre then most corner's in the NFL strive to be mediocre. There are only so many guys that can play face up, press, man coverage and be counted on. He is considered one of them. That's why Champ Bailey and Asanti Samuel are so valuable. I'm not saying he is on their level but he is that kind of corner.

There is a big difference between not a great corner and mediocre at best. I never said he was great but he is a good corner back. Why else would he be picked up by a team like the Cowboys after all the bull **** he has done?</p>

what i'm excited about is his punt returning abilities and him providing depth at corner. every single corner we have is decent at the very worst. i think dallas had one (maybe 2 if you include the playoff game against the eventual super bowl champion giants) game where they allowed 100 yards rushing. the linebacking core (bradie james, zach thomas, anthony spencer, gregg ellis, demarcus) is the best in the league. i'm pretty confident that the defense will be a little better than good. there is no excuse for them not to be top 3 in the league in yards allowed.

I've been excited about Pacman since he arrived... He seems to ahve his head on straight, and he is very good. Not great (yet) but certainly not mediocre.

.....that some franchises are willing to sell their souls to win. Unfortunately for Dallas, they still have Romo at QB. If they make the playoffs again, he's sure to choke in anticipation of getting back home to Daisy Duke.

Mine is two, and she's already seen the Saints win one more playoff game than the Cowboys have in the past twelve.

but at the same time, she and her dear old dad don't go around crowing about how a cornerback that's a strip club visit away from a supsension will take us to the promised land.

Thank you, RR. That festering smell that is the 'Aints support network is already getting stifling.
