and wait, and post cruel, vicious, completely unsubstantiated rumors of whom the next baseball coach will be based upon the tips provided to our 2nd cousin (twice-removed) from a guy in a trenchcoat lurking behind the cafeteria.

Anybody, here wanna get us started ?

How about listing coaches you DON"T want to see in the MSU dugout next year ?

that tells me that we really are going to do a legit search. If my McClurean theorem is correct, the CWS will be over in four weeks. Most all the good coaches are in Regionals at the very least, and it's not fair to cause a distraction for them or their team in the postseason.</p>

and I had any other viable option I wouldn`t even consider the MSU job. Why would a guy want to come in under the conditions and animosity Polk has created with his ultimatums ? Raffo needs to continue his career on his own and IF he`s got IT everything will work out for him. Getting the MSU job could be a career killer for him at this juncture and he really needs to think his way through this.

There's no need to and it's just in poor taste. Raffo's been here for a long time and he's coached on some successful (and some not so successful) teams. Hopefully, he's got enough sense to already be looking for another job so we can just accept his resignation.
