has the potential to really <17> some **** up. Hope it kicks north over Cuba and weakens, as bad as that sounds.

From the weather channel's projected course, even if it stays south and strengthens it will most likely go into south Texas or Mexico.

I find that hard to believe unless something catastrophic happens with Russia, the Middle East or a hurricane. Most of the stuff I've read indicates that most analysts think oil will bounce back to about $125/barrel and then drop below $110.

but there is no way short of half the refineries in the US being blown up that gas will be 6 dollars a gallon by the end of this year.

Crude and retail gasoline have already hit a saturation point. People are driving less, demand is way down. Good things have come out of it, like less traffic fatalities.

The fragile US Ecomony can't handle another dollar or two on top of the current gas prices. People will just stop driving.

anytime gas prices are the subject, someone always posts somewhere about how they know a guy in the business who says that prices will be some ridiculous amount soon.

if he can get Croom to hire a legit OC. That would be as impressive as diverting a tropical cyclone.

That battle would be epic. The earth may collapse in on itself leaving only the mighty Tyson Lee alone floating through space.

Keep in mind when Chuck Norris swims he doesn't get wet, the water gets Chuck Norris.

Squalls out on the gulf stream
Big storms comin soon
I passed out in my hammock
And God I slept til way past noon
Stood up and tried to focus
I hoped I wouldnt have to look far
I sure could use a bloody mary
So I stumbled over to Louie's backyard

Chorus:
And now I must confess, I could use some rest
I cant run at this pace very long
Yes its quite insane, I think it hurts my brain
But it cleans me out and then I can go on

Theres somethin about this sunday
Its a most peculiar gray
Strollin down the avenue thats known as A1A
Feelin tired, then I got inspired
I knew that it wouldnt last long
So all alone I walked back home
Sat on my beach and then I made up this song

Chorus:
And now I must confess, I could use some rest
I cant run at this pace very long
Yes its quite insane, I think it hurts my brain
But then it cleans me out and then I can go on

Well the wind is blowin harder now
Fifty knots or thereabouts
Theres white caps on the ocean
And Im watchin for waterspouts
Its time to close the shutters
Its time to go inside
In a week Ill be in gay paris
Thats a mighty long airplane ride

Chorus:
And now I must confess, I could use some rest
I cant run at this pace very long
Yes its quite insane, I think it hurts my brain
But it cleans me out and then I can go on

Ha ... that was my thought too as I sit here staring at a spread sheet at 9pm just so I can cut out early on Friday to go to Ruston.

...to raise prices, they'll leave them high and let us ***** about them for a while until they lower them a little. By then, $4.50 will be "cheap" to the fooled American people.

Everyone's talking about it and making plans. At work we're waiting until Sunday to make a decision. If it looks like its going to make landfall anywhere remotely close the the city we'll be heading to Birmingham on Sunday.

but we've got three days (and 12 more computer model predictions) for that thing to wibble and wobble.

A meteorologist on the radio just said that NOGAPS and GFDL were the most reliable, however one has it hitting Houma, La. and the other has it hitting Port St. Joe, Fla.

The price of gas all depends on the election and the President's Energy policies.
