The athletic director may tell hot head that money don't grow on trees if they have to pay additional money to let the offensive coordinator go.

Given the offensive struggles predate him, but if they look like this again this year, they can't afford to keep the OC.

I've said the same thing.

I recall years ago when there was talk of Clemson leaving the ACC for the SEC. Dabo was asked about that and got very huffy and told the interviewer (I remember his EXACT words): "We are not leaving the ACC. We are the ACC".

I know he's been wildly successful there and he's still pretty young. But no coach is a permanent fixture. In the long run it's about the money and money always wins.

He excelled in the old college football model. He is average in the new football model.

Just went back and looked at Tigernet (could not help myself). One of them is calling for Jamey Chadwell to replace Dabo.
