On3 has our "average NIL" as $172k, the fourth highest outside the top 10 (we're currently 25). Surely we're not plunging that much cheddar into HS/JC recruits? That would mean we outspent all but 10 or 11 schools today. Why wouldn't be saving a lot of that money for the portal? If the figures are right, we spent more than UF, OM, ND, LSU, Clempson and Miami. Make it make sense. Please tell me I'm not understanding this correctly.

Most of these kids want to play at next level, what on earth did you see forma coaching standpoint especially on defense to make you think they will get a look at the next level based on their performance this year. Issac Smith is ecstatic for Hutzler to come back he may lead the league in tackles next year!!

It seems like Primetime has it figured out, he singed the fewest number of players today. Save that m'fing money for the portal. You might was well expect to only keep a player one year anyway. Bring players in who have proven they can play at this level.

I'm assuming most of the portal players we are after realize they have little shot at the NFL, but that doesn't mean they can't be solid SEC contributors. They are likely looking for playing time and money.
