Northwest Rankin softball has unconventional celebration after 7A title game called due to weather

The Cougars celebrated their state championship in a gas station parking lot following an early ending to the game

They cut the state championship game short due to weather, so they cheated one team out of an opportunity and another out of finishing an undefeated season on the field. Bunch of dam clowns run MHSAA and those coaches deserve to be ridiculed. They had one game today and one tomorrow. Could've easily finished that game. That's a once in a lifetime thing for many kids.

the night before, Northwest Rankin mounted a comeback down 4-0 with two outs in the bottom of the 7th.

there was an NAIA Regional game where a team came back down 12 with two outs in the bottom of the 9th.

Yeah theres a lot of pissed off people talking about in town today. NW Rankin would have probably won but like 615 said, they came back down 4-0 the other night to win, who’s to say Hernando couldn’t do the same.
