Any plans to honor the 2004 men’s basketball SEC Champions

It’s been 20 years since the Dawgs won the SEC in men’s hoops. Is there any plan on honoring them this season?

I'll go ahead and blame Loaferz too since he mishandled Stans and pushed away so many of our big basketball supporters, a culture of which we are just barely starting to rekindle from those days (except for pre-conference play, of course).

They do need to bring Stansbury back and put him head of recruiting but no X and O's. To do it just to piss 34 off would be cool as well.

That team didn't finish the way they or we wanted, but it was the best regular season in the last 60 years of men's basketball at State. They should be honored whenever appropriate.

I'll never forget that road game at Florida when it just became obvious how 17'n good they were. A joy to watch when they were rolling.

I think the only people you can blame on the disappearance of our basketball fans are Father Time and the Grim Reaper.

Tough to overcome a good team hitting half court shots at the buzzer and making 70%+ from the floor in a half.
