Generally speaking, used stamps don't have much monetary value. There are a few exceptions, but not many.

I never could understand why the Postal Service keeps raising the price of stamps. Why don't they just make them smaller?

Generally speaking, used stamps don't have much monetary value. There are a few exceptions, but not many.

Neither do mint US stamps after the mid-1930s. Most are best used as postage. There are a few exceptions.
