Clyde the Glide was gone, though Akeem Olajuwon was still there. Talked to our Center Kelvin Hildreth the day before the game. He was 6' 6", was the tallest player on the team and he was assigned to guard Hakeem. Basically, told him good luck because he was gonna need it. Turned out, Hildreth didn't do too bad (also remembered he had a hot tall blonde girlfriend on the Volleyball team). My memories of the game were any time there was a jumper inside 20 feet, there was a hand about a foot below it....Olajuwon's. The assigned prick for that game was Benny Anders, because he was really mouthing off. Also, remember the Phi Slamma Jamma warmups. They lost in the finals that year to Georgetown.
