So, had I not been so lazy, I would be screwed, too.

With that being said, I would love to see UCLA go down. I'm tired of all the Pac 10 love.

The commentators were nauseating enough without having to see a see of blue. They will get killed once they get past the teams in the West bracket.

You get an advantage with being a one seed. Everybody should know that

you do realize that the pod system was designed to give the top seeds an advantage, right? That's why Memphis is playing 2 hours away, Carolina is playing an hour or so away, etc.

UCLA has one of the nastiest defenses ever. They have given up 78 points in 80 minutes so far. Scary.

will we play in front of a Memphis crowd like that tomorrow? Did Memphis, UNC and Kansas get to play in the same metropolitan area that their school is in?

Raleigh is 28 miles from Chapel Hill.

The Honda Center in Anaheim is 45 miles from UCLA's campus.

Downtown Memphis is at worst a 2 hour drive to Little Rock, and yes, the crowd will be hugely partisan Memphis.

Just stop.

Carolina-Blue Bears right where you needed them and you let them provide you with "a nightmare that'll cause you to wake up screamin' to in the middle of the night for years to come" !

Ooooohhh! I can't stand UCLA basketball ! It's so bad that I cheered for, ahem,... Notre Dame.... and Adrian Dantley to beat UCLA and end that 88-game winning streak. You know it's bad when I cheer for the Domers.

Seeing as how that translates into UCLA being in the Final Four.

Look at the rest of their bracket. Anyone else in the West who had a shot to knock them off before the Final Four is gone to an upset.

Yeah...it is stupid of me to think that playing in the same town of 3.8 million would translate into more fans and home court advantage than the megatropolis towns of Memphis and Raleigh.

you think teams that couldn't beat Western Kentucky, San Diego, or West Virginia were going to beat UCLA?

You need to come to grips with the fact that UCLA is an elite team with several future NBA players on it's roster. Because that's how it is. And further, I guaran-damn-tee you if we somehow got a one seed, and our games were in Birmingham and Memphis, you wouldn't be complaining at all.

have 3.8 million seats? And everybody there is a UCLA fan? Not one USC fan in sight?

Seriously, you have been completely shut down in this argument. Time to let this one slide off the front page. Maybe take the next few plays off, Champ.

don't think they are on the same level as the rest of the #1 and even #2 seeds. Just an opinion based on what I have seen of them and their opponents.

of beating a dead horse.

RBC Center in Raleigh seats 19,722.

Honda Center in Anaheim seats 17,608.

Alltel Arena seats 18,000.

Now, genius - explain to me what difference it makes how many people live in the area when the arenas are all around the same size?

According to him, we would only have a home-court advantage if our games were in Columbus and West Point.

that quote in Costanza's sig, because you are the only person on earth that thinks that. NBAdraft.net has all five UCLA starters being drafted either first or second round this year. They won the number one RPI rated conference by three games. They are easily one of the top two teams in the tournament.

not that it matters, bc you are not going to fit a million people in a gym...but the raleigh/durham area isn't eggsactly tylertown. just give it up, you're getting demolished.

you had a terrible argument with no facts to support you. Haven't you read this board enough to know that if you have a flimsy argument or none at all that you will likely get ripped to shreds on it?
