Anyone else here staying at the Best Western in Athens or know what's near it?

Location is at the corner of Milledge Ave. and Broad St., about 1.5 miles from the stadium. Is it in the "middle of everything" (downtown?)? Bringing my wife and two boys (17 and 20), so we won't be late night partying, but might still want to go out to eat, shop, etc.

It's about 8-9 blocks (maybe 3/4 of a mile?)from the main downtown area. If you plan to be downtown for a while, it's a semi-long walk but doable. Ifyou're going back and forth, you might want to take your chances on finding a place to park, except on gameday.</p>
