I believe St. Joe was the only 1A to survive from the delta....beat Potts Camp. Guess there are still first round games to be finished today before finalizig second round.

Now that's funny or sad. To bad Polk is leaving, they sound like prefect pansies.

ok, thanks. maybe that bit of information will somehow turn out to be useful here.
Oh, and East Webster strolled them. It was like men vs. boys, and I hear that East Webster has everyone back, so look for more of the same if they play this year.

Truth is I really don't give a damn about high school baseball. My cousin is coach at East Webster. That's the only reason I went.

I've been to Trustmark the past few years and it has been fun. The atmosphere is really exciting, especially for the 3A 4A and 5A games. I'm just a fan of good baseball anyway...

I'm hoping Madison Central can maybe somehow make it back for the third year in a row. And not play anyone from Hattiesburg.

I pay attention to 5A just because my alma mater happens to be there, but Tupelo is probably the team to beat, but MC, Oak Grove, and Northwest Rankin among others have a shot.

5A has pretty good parity, usually.

I'm hoping to see Oak Grove and Tupelo in the 5A finals. That would be a good series.

i think my high school West Jones will be tough to beat in 4A. We seem to have a very good hitting team and adequate pitching. Brookhaven may give us a test in South 4A though due to their LHP that signed with Southern Miss.
