Wifey and I both have been getting them for a few days, mine in spam, hers in regular email. I'm going to give it a chance before unsubscribing. Best thing for me is the daily update on sports schedules. For example, I see that women's soccer opens their season at home tomorrow vs. Texas Tech at 7pm. We may go, where I may have missed that game altogether until reading the score the next morning.
That said, Tom McA does a very good job of keeping us up to date on all news on all sports, but I don't get to each post every day.

Yeah, I saw that too. I'm guessing that its introduction may have been posted on gopsusports, but I am skeptical and haven't gone back to check. I would be pleasantly surprised if so, happy to be proven wrongly cynical there.

Anyway, once again a stellar job of not communicating info to the customer base! ICA is a huge organization -- why so awkward with basic marketing communications?
They already have access to our emails, so imo, send out an announcement from ICA, which would not be marked as spam, to give us a heads up and get it out of spam and re-label it from that if wanted.

The first time I saw it hit my mailbox, I thought it was an ad for a new beer that someone was cranking out in State College. Then I kept getting it and I deleted it without looking at it. I'm not sure 'brew' means to them what they think it does because most sports people think of 'brew' as beer-related.
