could be Germans of course but didn't see it?on the board.?

Griffen just days before had "physically abused a freshman," the police said. To squelch any doubts or grumbles of protest, officers interrupted a team meeting and played the incriminating video.

Sure enough, there was Griffen -- on the football field running through a hapless block attempt from freshman offensive lineman Matt Meyer. Rumor has it that further evidence included a footprint on Meyer's forehead that matched Griffen's cleats.

He's so enthusiastic and looks like he's always having fun and trying to get the team to do the same. I guess it's no wonder he signs so many top prospects.

having people pay for new homes and new cars for your family doesnt have anything to do with it.
Reggie Bush was much more impressed with Pete's sense of fun.

and everything to do with Reggie Bush being Reggie Bush. Some wanna-be agent saw a family he could get to buy his line of bs and he tried to get in on the ground floor of the Reggie Bush business. Unfortunately for him, he failed.

Do you just surf around looking for threads you can reply to in your usual idiotic manner?

they are sticking to it.
USC would never bend/break NCAA recruiting rules. No sirree bob...all you have to do is look at who was his recruiting coordinator for years. That paragon of virtue, Oregeron...oh wait.....

are just jealous that it didn't work in their favor.

I mean really, recruiting violations are slightly below wins in terms of importance to a football program.

A) he has no affiliation whatsoever to USC and B) the Bush family had all this going on in San Diego could lend some credence to their side of the story. This guy is some ex-con thug who was trying to cash in on Reggie Bush. What you're trying to sell me is that if Reggie Bush went to Cal or UCLA that none of this would've happened?

This thread had absolutely nothing to do with Reggie Bush or recruiting violations until JR hijacked it. Did a comment that Pete Carroll seems to be a fun guy to be around and that seems to affect his recruiting really need to turn into a big argument about big time college football program cheating?

and I personally take most stuff from Yahoo Sports with a grain of salt.. they seem to report first and verify facts later... but anyway, the point is that it could've happened whether he went to USC, UCLA, Cal, or any other school in California.. to think that's how they get guys to go to USC is ludicrous... I guess the BCS Bowls, national titles, and Heisman trophies (and the co-eds) have nothing to do with it

no it didn't. i happen to love good April Fools jokes and this one happened to be sports related. JR to the rescue to kill the thread.

hell i was thinking about posting that we should throw around some ideas that would be great April Fools jokes for our athletic department. i know i can think of a few that would be funny as hell right now for the new AD to do.
