I’m surprised we haven’t heard about fallout in Pittsburgh yet. That would be the most likely large city nearby the derailment where significant problems should occur first.

The bottom line is that I trust no information being released about this event. The plume map shown earlier in this thread could be correct, or it could be total BS.

Lucky it derailed east of that town looks to be in outskirts. 1 mile more would have been a real disaster.

What are the side effects? Whatever they are, I'll convince myself that I have them.
I can see the tv ads now.

Do you live in in eastern Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New England, or Canada……..or have you ever visited these places? You could be owed millions! If you or your loved one have ever had:

-sneezing
-a runny nose
-cough
-headache
-muscle pain
-chills
-fever
-limb amputation
-seasonal allergies
-forgot where you placed your car keys
-and, of course, death

then call us immediately to get your free evaluation! You won’t owe us anything unless we get you money!*

*(Well, actually you’ll owe us costs and expenses win or lose and if you actually win we’ll take an additional 40% but hey- details). ;)

We made a mistake years ago when we started allowing lawyers to advertise. I understand that victims aren't always treated fairly and they need representation. The problem is we've created an industry of ambulence chasers and shakedown artists.

According to my friend who works on air with Accuweather, the day they did the burn-off in East Palestine there was a NW west—meaning the plume headed toward the SE. His info was corroborated with sat imagery I saw for myself from the time of the burn-off event with general flow from the NW.

That map could be potentially off...
