Twitter rumor is that Loggains is staying put. Allegedly the pushback from the fan base turned him off. Seems unlikely. He coached in New York but our fans are too much for him? Yeah, right.
Thx for the update - had not heard this. Does he not get heat at Arky?
Any info on whether Ruggiero has been contacted?

I find it highly unlikely some tweets and some message board posts are enough to sway coach's career decisions.

Makes me wonder how much there were to the rumors to begin with.

To be a successful coach today you have to be able to take some heat. Comes with the job and the substantial paycheck.

He didn’t have OC responsibilities at Arkansas.

I'm sticking with my pick: Spurrier, from Home, on the couch, video conferencing in the plays. My arguments: 1) It would be a first in CFB. Let's be first in something for once. 2) The media would love it which would bring a *TON* of coverage to the program. (Recruits) 3) Spurriers ego would be fed and he'd have the best of everything. All he has to do is show up and call ball plays.

+ I'm betting he'd do it on the cheap too, and Tanner would LOVE that.
