Are all articles paid now?

I can't seem to get any of the articles to load anymore on this site. The ones that do, all have that banner for membership covering them. I can just as easily go to the other two sites to get the same information for free. It's frustrating.

I don't understand making some things premium. The reason I'm no longer a paying member is because the stuff that matters to me is always public information either at the same time or shortly after it is reported here.

I just listen to the YouTube updates. They are free and they tell you mostly what is written in the articles.

I don't pay for sports information beyond what it takes for me to access media and glean what comes routinely from those sources. If I find out something tomorrow for free that I would have had to pay for today, I'll gladly hold off. The totality of sports information isn't worth a dime of extra expense to me.

Agreed but a lot of this information is available free on other sites at the same time or earlier than posted on GCC.

I agree. At the end of the day, the only thing I really care about is the actual game that's played for a few hours on Saturday. The rest of it that comes out in dribs and drabs during the week is really just filler to capitalize on my appetite for the actual event. I oblige by consuming it, but I'm not willing to pay extra to consume it earlier than I would have otherwise.

In all honesty, the recent move by Gamecock Central to eliminate our ability to read casual articles is driving me away from the site. We all are of great value to the owners by providing "clicks" that are used by its advertising sales reps to sell those banner ads and the annoying pop-up ads.

I would be greatly appreciative if any of you would provide me with other sites where I may glean top line Carolina football info.

They shouldn't have left 247 over there. Eventually, when these $1 deals start running out, I won't be surprised to see this site dry up. The message boards already mostly are. I can't remember a time seeing fewer posts than I have this season.
