Starting to feel like the OC hire for CZA is going to turn into when Dan hired Torbush as his first DC.

Not going to get worked up until I have something to get worked up about but we cannot afford to hire some retread OC.

Our shot at a big season in 2018 was lost because we missed on the HC hire. We have to get it right because 2023 could be special.

So much for being innovative and running a fast paced high scoring hard to defend offense. Let's go back to 2000 instead
The only way this makes sense is if Zach woke up this morning and decided he wanted us to be the SEC’s version of Iowa.

The college football landscape is littered with good offensive minds that are knowledgeable and creative. It would not surprise me to see CZA hire a FCS or D2 coordinator. I’m sure when Oregon hired Chip Kelly many were wondering what they were doing. I think he was was coaching at the University of New Hampshire at the time which isn’t exactly a football juggernaut.

Think bigger. You could pay enough per year to bring in any c-usa head coach to be the OC.

A guy that went to high school in Manchester, New Hampshire as an OC in the Power 5, much less the SEC?

It'd never work***

Outside of 2017, not a lot to be excited about. That 2017 team featured Michael Gallup who caught 100 balls for 1,400 yards that season.

So, they've removed the fat one and everyone's sphincter can snap back into relaxed mode?
But, you older guys, don't let it relax too much.
This is all going to end soon with a name we'll all know.

I would love to be the SEC's version of Iowa. They have missed a bowl game only twice since 2000, and that includes several trips to the Citrus, Orange, and even the ******* Rose Bowl.

Jeez, some of you need to take a break from message boarding for the weekend.
It’s unbelievable. The feeling from some on this board is that Briles was the only good option. Any other option will suck now, so let’s have a meltdown.

Sounds like Bobo is no longer going to happen (praise God). But Will Friend is probably going to be OL coach, which is fine with me, he’s solid.
