I am sure it was just a simple misunderstanding!!Army ends a drive with a field goal. 10-7.
During the drive, a Navy defender wouldn’t let go of an Army running back’s leg when the ball was dead. The Army player stomped on him. Offsetting personal fouls. So much for military discipline.
Explain this to me please....Navy has 4th and 3 from Army's 31, decides to go for it and not try a FG. Navy moves, 5 yd penalty and now the Navy coach says try the FG? WTF!!!
No way… a 70 million/10 year extension!Navy missed. Army just made a field goal. 13-7, Army, at the half.
The Navy coach needs fired.
Saturday evening scones! You big spender you!Navy opens the 2nd half with a 10-play, 74-yard TD drive. 14-13, Navy.
My wife and I are going to Starbucks, so you guys are on your own.
Pretty simple, 4th and 3 you have a reasonable expectation of getting the 1st down, 4th and 8, not so much.Explain this to me please....Navy has 4th and 3 from Army's 31, decides to go for it and not try a FG. Navy moves, 5 yd penalty and now the Navy coach says try the FG? WTF!!!
Agree....but they tried a 53 yd fg instead of punting and I think the Navy fg kicker had not kicked a fg farther than 45 yards all year. Missed the FG and give Army the ball at the 43. The reason they went for it on 4th and 3 was because no confidence in making a 48 yarder...Pretty simple, 4th and 3 you have a reasonable expectation of getting the 1st down, 4th and 8, not so much.
