I'm not well-connected at all, and even I have heard troubling stories about how toxic the locker room is right now. I'm sure plenty of you have heard some of the same things. This staff has completely, irretrievably lost the players, and I don't blame them. It's only going to get worse in the locker room between now and Thanksgiving. There is no path forward with Arnett, even in the short term. It doesn't matter who is named the interim coach for the next 3 games. What matters is that Arnett has to go yesterday. Waiting until after Thanksgiving is not good enough.

Honestly that might be best. That would show our returning players and our croots that the school is committed to improving this program. Couldn't hurt anything thats for sure
Except for the pocketbook of the people writing the check.

Who cares about recrootin, the class is shlt anyway. If we hire a good guy, they'll come back. The class is going to be mainly portal. Haven't we learned our lesson about doing things for the immediate crootin class?

I agree. We have no reason whatsoever to keep him around. The season is garbage, the recruiting is garbage, attendance is garbage, morale is garbage, interest is garbage. Get rid of him NOW! Make hughs the interim. Then at least we have a new hire to look forward to.

I am not well-connected or in state. What the tea on these troubling stories?

I saw an OL arguing with Arnett as he made his way to the bench on Saturday.

Can't blame the players. They are not being put in a position to succeed and they have figured out the staff doesn't know the path to success.

The need to fire him now isn't about recruiting. Even if it did affect recruiting positively, it doesn't matter.
